Light-free reflectives?

    Yes, I assume he meant fluorescent. I can't see the benefit of UV
    fluorescent clothing once the sun has gone to bed, though.

    I recall something I saw a while back about having full beam
    headlights emitting outside the range of normal vision to hopefully
    pick up deer and such on the road when dipped headlights were
    required. Of course it would only work if the deer were flourescent.
    Perhaps it would work for flourescent jackets.

    There have has been work looking into using headlamps emitting UV light
    and dyes in road markings, signage etc. that fluoresce under UV light.

    Apparently it also helps pick out a lot of pedestrians because of the
    fluorescent optical brighteners in washing powders.

    Maybe they wash deers with it
