This time between people in warehouses and motor vehicles.

Finally time to do something about the drivetrain on some of the bikes,
so off to the internets to find new chainrings, chain, sprockets, front
mech, and as a bonus some brake pads.

Ordered some stuff from CRC, and some from Ribble. Paid the 4 quid "next
day" delivery charge for the Ribble bits (made up with their keen
prices), standard delivery from CRC. Orders entered 1am Thursday morning.

First parcel in? CRC, first class mail, some time around 11am today :)
Second was Ribble, Parcelforce 24H, about 2pm.

(delivery time actually determined when the relevant people get to our
door - normal postie nearly always before parcelforce. Ribble kept to
their promises, CRC just did a good job like normal)

Now I have the chance to get messy and take lots of things apart.

The opposite happened to me when my Exposure light was faulty and I sent it
off for repair. It went by registered post on 23 Dec and was posted back to
me on 24 Dec. However, I wasn't at home when it arrived and so it went back
to the sorting office and because of all of the bank holidays etc. I wasn't
able to finally pick it up until 4 Jan. Luckily the off road routes I would
have used with that as a front floodlight were snowbound, so I didn't miss
    it anyway.

    <insert suitable spannering soundtrack>

And it's a windy night with dry tarmac, so I got some decent use out of
my newly functional big ring :)

Once again I'm reminded why one gets a nice fast bike. It feels really
good powering along, rather than frustrating, and this encourages me to
    push more.

Now all I need to do is (re?)grow the muscles to go with that image :)

But did they give you a pack of sweeties? No? Wiggle must really like
    me.
